Since 2017 Hope Rocks Events has become the inspiration for communities engaging in a counter-assault on the epidemic of death caused by addiction and suicide. Since 2017, Hope Rocks has gone from a local, once a year music and arts festival to year-round activities, events and programs with nationwide appeal.
Motivated by desperation, this movement was created by an elementary school teacher who had witnessed one too many death of a former student from overdose or suicide. Banding together with local community members, the Hope Rocks Festival was created. This was the first-ever music, arts, activity and support festival which featured over 50 local, regional and national support groups, services, counselors and experts in the fields of recovery and mental health. It has been grabbing the attention of communities and organizations ever since. As a result, the Hope Rocks Festival became Hope Rocks Events.
Now, Hope Rocks Events is a fully accredited Not-for Profit which coordinates programs and events linking local service organizations with those in need of services in non-traditional ways, thus removing the stigma and darkness which cloud these topics and prohibit recovery. Meeting people where they are and demonstrating that not only are they worthwhile, but connecting them with experts in their communities who will help them restore their lives. Additionally, Hope Rocks Events is a powerful resource and movement for families and loved ones to use their experiences to help others. Volunteering for Hope Rocks Events is an outward sign that hope is real and changes lives.
Hope Rocks is completely dependent on the generosity of individuals, groups, organizations and businesses to allow us to continue to reach those in need where they are. Please consider dealing hope to those who are desperate to know that someone cares and their lives can be rebuilt and made whole. These are the warriors and the leaders of the future. These survivors know the power of struggle and their stories and triumphs are critical to helping others, including ourselves.
Deal Hope!
